When I started working on a music video for Mother Engine’s „The Void“ in 2018, a song about disconnection and social anomaly, the first image that came into my mind was that of a lonely gangway. It seemed the perfect opener and led to a whole series of shots of devoid mass transportation systems.

Little did I know by then how quickly this would become the new normalcy in 2020.
